Collection: Falling into Place

Falling into Place features inky drips and swathes of layered color, reflecting on what it means to find yourself in a place of belonging, to feel at home within the confines of your human experience. Through the physical labor of throwing, flinging, pouring, and smearing paint, Rya co-creates with gravity and momentum to explore the literal experience of letting paint fall into place. The movement and energy transmuted into the series results in an offering of deeply emotional pieces for the viewer.
